Dear Praying Friends,
Upon arriving back here in Ukraine we have quickly learned that not much has changed. There is still political volatility which threatens our very existence here as missionaries. The financial market is unstable as in most of the world right now, the weather is still cold, and people are still lost and on their way to Hell. So our work continues and in the midst of it all we trust the Lord to continue to guide and provide as He graciously has time after time.
Jennifer has started back up home-schooling the older two boys. Josiah has been helping make sure she stays busy. I have started back with the prayer group and tracting ministries, as well as some others we will gradually work ourselves more into such as the orphanages and schools.
There are two big prayer requests that we have. The first one is concerning the village of Dubliany. There is a small work there in need of a Pastor and I have been asked to consider working there. The only trouble is the ties that it has to the Baptist Union here. Without making a long story of it we really need to pray that this is of the Lord's leading. It has the potential to be a really great church and is in an area that is certainly in need, but we do not want to make a hasty decision that we will regret later on. I will continue to pray and seek counsel and ask your prayers for us as well.
The other big request almost ties directly in with the first. Our van is still en route to Ukraine. If and when we can secure it in Ukraine it will certainly open up doors for us in simply having the ability to minister in a village such as Dubliany.
The Lord continues to answer prayers and meet needs in our lives for which we are ever so grateful. Our landlord who is currently in the USA has called us a couple of times. The house he is renting to us is so perfect for our family. It seems as though he is in no hurry for us to leave and may be willing to rent to us indefinitely. It makes it so much better to not have to be thinking about moving when there is so much else going on.
The Master's program I am studying in has also been a great blessing to me personally as I challenge myself to grow spiritually. More of my rough edges are revealed and thankfully, mercifully more of His grace is bestowed. It has also been just a wonder to me to hear and receive confirmation over and over again that people are praying for us and our ministry here. It is such an encouragement that we never take for granted and we wish to express our thanks for each of you.
May the Lord continue to bless and use you as you seek to serve Him!
In Christ,
Tim Bagwell and family,
